This thing is a lemon. He’s spent more time fixing parts that are breaking then riding it. It’s a new one every time.

 

Some people enjoy that aspect of owning vehicles more than actually using the vehicle. Ask any of those old gear heads about the heyday of muscle cars and how great those cars were. Then ask their wives about it and they'll tell you about how they spent every weekend working on that thing and barely ever got use for more than driving to work. The few times they tried to drag race it got down the track once or twice before something broke.

He just bought this thing and we drive 90 minutes to the track, pay 30 bucks to get in, and it fucking breaks again.

Trust me. He is extremely unhappy. This isn’t a restoration project for him, he likes to race dirt bikes. That’s what he wants to be doing right now. He is just convinced he can get this fixed and it’s clearly not the case. This bike is a lemon. We’ve never had to put this much work into his 125 in years. He’s about to push this POS off a cliff.

 

My brother has a racing bike he'd sell him for probably $1500. It's not a lemon for sure. I've ridden it a few times in some rough terrain. That thing is deadly though. I scared the shit out of myself the first time I open it up. The guy who sold to my brother was a pro and completely decked it out with aftermarket racing parts.
