I have jury duty next month. First time for me as well.

I had to sit thru the most uninteresting case ever

 

We picked up the first one last week for like 7 bucks on sale. We're kinda playing them in reverse so if it shows up on sale again, definitely hop on it. The replayability is real.

 

That's cool that they let you know you have to go in so far ahead of time, Every time I've gotten a jury summons, you get a number and call in the weekend before to check if you have to show up.

 

I made it to jury selection and it was a case where a guy had 1200lbs of weed in his garage and he was trying to say he didn't know it was there. I asked if the guy was blind because that's just the stupidest thing I've ever heard and the defense attorney had me dismissed.

Bar fight. I was sitting through jury duty in Clemson. Lasted like 2 days before the guy just took a plea deal.

The next time I got called, I got dismissed super quick cause I would have “ unfair predjudice,” towards aggravated assault cases (because of my personal history) . I was like, “ yes. It’s true.”

Got to go home. Wasn’t mad.

The first one is pretty slow after playing the other two. It's even had to go from the Pre-sequel to #2 because of the low grav stuff.

I'll play with you guys though. I love me some borderlands.

Pros:
They tell you not to overthink it ... but I probably overthought it. Such is the fate of those with an opinion on way too much stuff :-)
Cons:
Too much of the same thing gets tiresome before too long. I suspect they would have gotten better data and paid less with fewer "trials." Really not evening material after a long day.

by 'call in,' I meant hitch up the mule and ride to the county seat so's I could talk to the clerk down to the courthouse
