02/27 - International Polar Bear Day Tuesday!

Yeah I only learned of them in 2010 when i was in Santa Barbara.... had no idea they went that far with franchises. We just started getting a few up here in the Bay Area in last couple years

 

Is it worth a three hour drive to Maryland though?

I'd say no because so far my experience in the franchised ones isn't near the OG one in Santa Barbara but they are still better than any of the other IMO for fast food ish type of joints. Absolutely worth it though if you are near one within reason.

I'd drag my dick through a mile of broken glass just to lick a Whataburger wrapper, so never underestimate me.

 

JFC that must be a good burger That is one of the ones I have not tried yet.... don't think I have ever been near one.

~20 minutes of pure torture, just awful

 

Closest is in AZ so I'll have to remember the next time I go through there to not only have a swim in the desert but hit a Whataburger.

 

In all seriousness, it's just fast food, but it's really good fast food compared to my western PA offerings. I've heard that In N Out is better, but I've never had the chance to hit one of those.

 

Nah it is better than Inn-N-Out but more expensive so

 

Honestly In and Out is meh.... I mean it is decent but way hyped up. I'd bet though that the OG ones were fantastic and it has just been meh'd down through franchising.
