So if I just accepted a tej hit and get the message "Thank you for working on our HITs! Unfortunately, all of the remaining HITs in this project have been reserved for other workers, and there are none left for you to do. Please check again tomorrow for more HITs to be available. (You must click the "Return HIT" button now to return this HIT.)" does that mean I get locked out if I return it?! Or can I try and accept another one? I'm $4 from my daily goal...

You can return a hit with the cap message. You just get locked out if you return a working hit.

Spent 2 days there and wasn't selected for the jury :( They got down through 26 or 27 for the panel of 12 + alternate (13total) and I was number 35. After spending that time there I am kind of disappointed that I didn't get to be in the jury.

It was a very interesting process to me. They asked some very thought provoking questions of us. I hope I get the chance to actually be on a jury some day.

Why does the grocery store by me have 752 styles of sugary teas (arnold palmers, rasp. tea, peach tea, rasp peach tea, etc...), but the never have regular tea? Do I have to make my own tea like some sort of mturk peasant?

Knee high boots. I wish I'd bought some when I was young. Now I can't even wear shoulder baring clothes without hearing my daughter, "That is a younger woman's style." :emoji_rolling_eyes:

I still flaunt my shoulders, and laugh at her embarrassment.

I don't think this would have been the most exciting, but I would have liked to have the full experience being a juror. (I can talk about it now that I've been dismissed) It is a criminal case with three counts. Possession of Meth with the intent to manufacture or distribute, attempted coercion of a witness and providing false information to law enforcement.

One of the orientation videos was very interesting to me in that it explained that we all have biases. Everyone does. Everyone. We use them to make quick judgements about people and things and in most cases they are very helpful in day to day life. As a juror, you need to be aware that you have those and be able to think about everything and analyze if you are inserting any of your biases into your judgements or not. If you are then you need to be consiously put them aside and be able to think about the evidence in a neutral factual way. I hadn't thought about that before really.

The whole thing was really enlightening to me and I really enjoyed it overall. There were stretches of just sitting in the jury room waiting. I did a fair bit of reading. Should have taken my Switch with me....
