I have been falling into the hole of isolation I occasionally fall into

But I really gotta get my butt back to work or vacation totally isn't happening this year. But my motivation like totally ran away and I can't find it.

 

Sigh, I never said they didn't have them in Bakersfield, but the drive from Tehachapi to Bakersfield has them in very specific areas and the rest is pretty empty except for truckers. I most often run into coppers out for the truckers and people hauling shit. I would have to be seriously hauling ass and fuck up at that point. Once I make it to a certain exit, the cops reappear...and I'm a goody two shoes over here lol, I don't get in trouble. I'm lame.

We have a ton of trucks that go sideways from the gusts up and down the mountain. And idiots who stall going up the mountain. I seriously can't make it to Bakersfield and back without a truck stalling. Usually blue lights in my area mean a truck flopped over. There was a semi with part of the cab across the freeway on the opposite side on my drive back up the mountain today. It was gnarly.
