@DikDik also, this just reminded me, there's also something to be said about higher quality food filling them up on less food because there is less filler, so it also lasts longer that way.

it's honestly personal preference. it can get as controversial as how people choose to feed their kids so you'll find people preaching on each side of it. i personally prefer the mid-range higher quality ($45-50lb per 30lbs) and think it's worth every penny, but i know people who work with a rescue and feed their own dogs iams too. it's worth researching so you can make the best choice for yourself and your pupper personally.

i have a few $5 off blue buffalo coupons that i'd very happily mail you, but it's the same $5 off you'd get on chewy unless a local store is running some sale on top of it or something. i've read good things about the food "i and love and you" and had a few great coupons for that (like $15 off or something), but i'm pretty sure they're expired.
