Pretty sure all ages can do it. They didn't screen me out or anything when I entered my age on the demos page

I have given my dogs apple cores with seeds for years. I think you need a lot of apple seeds to cause harm.

Apple seeds are also a choking hazard, though I guess that also might depend on the size of the dog.

Yeah, I used to, but when I told the vet I was giving him whole apples, he said that it probably wouldn't affect a dog of his size, but it's probably best to avoid giving him seeds. Apparently he's so big that chocolate wouldn't even affect them much unless he ate like a whole chocolate bar.

I've been told by dog trainers and vets that cubed apples and carrots are best for the dogs. I still give them crappy treats too because who doesn't like those doggie slim jims, but just mix it up a bit.

They may also get chips and anything else that "falls" on the ground. They are totally not spoiled.

Everything is choking hazard if your dog is too stupid to chew anything you give him.

My rule of thumb is that once a dog reaches half its life expectancy w/ good behavior the amount of human food consumed increases exponentially by year.

Ofc by my standards they just continue eating dog food as per the usual.. but its the thought that counts.

I like spending extra on non-crappy treats just to mix up my dog's diet. He's currently working his way through a bag of alligator & catfish sticks.

True. My dog doesn't really chew his food, I've seen him swallow an entire slice of pizza whole. It was very traumatizing.

Treat-wise I give Louis the milk bone minis since they are so lightweight(I think only a couple calories or so) which are great since I go through so many with him

Skeeter figured out how to get into my drawer and stole chocolate covered espresso beans. I had a meltdown and the vet was like, "yeah, he'll be fine...hyper but fine." That dog was HYPED, we thought he was gonna explode, and now will try and steal anything caffeine related he can find. He literally has tried to run off with coffee beans, and you find him hiding somewhere...crunch crunch crunch on a coffee bean he sniped. He was hoarding them at one point after Matt spilled a bag, and we had to search the entire house for his little hideaways of coffee beans. He will open bags, cabinets, containers, anything he thinks might have sweet drugs. I practically have to child lock that crap from him. He will try and eat tea leaves if you let him. There is no way that tastes good! He's just a little addict!

Sorry honey, that's mommy's addiction, not for you.
