I wish I could go barefoot, I'll have to see if my fiancee can bring me some before work when she wakes up in a few hours.

 

If you don't have an actual towel in your office drawer, go to the bathroom and grab paper towels there and dry your feet as best as you can, and leave your socks off til they dry. If you can, run to whatever grocery store or pharmacy is nearby and see if they have some hand or foot warmers there (like HotHands). Those will do the trick quicker than the rest.

Also, any friends at work? Anyone have a heater at their desk? Go beg if they do.

@DikDik Actually, call ahead to the grocery store or pharmacy and ask if they have them since you're already struggling to walk around. Don't make it a wasted trip.

A computer lab? Computers kick out a ton of heat when they are in a lab. Put your socks near them if you can, they'll get drier quicker. You might want to hold your likely cold, clammy feet near whatever hot computer/server or heating vent you can find if you're really cold too.

 

Been there.

• If your work has showers they probably have a hairdryer in the bathroom. It's slow but it'll dry out your socks and shoes.
• Paper towels crammed inside each sock and each shoe will absorb moisture.

These are the two best methods. Paper towels are much better at absorbing moisture than toilet paper.

• At a pinch, go into a toilet stall and use toilet paper to stuff into each sock/shoe. Cover floor with toilet paper or those paper seat covers first (toilet floors can get nasty). Leave the paper in there for a few seconds, pull out, flush, repeat.

My city has really shitty drainage so everywhere is basically a lake when it rains like this

 

It's happened to the best of us when dealing with the elements. Snow, a ton of rain, flooding, etc. can easily cause your shoes, socks, and bottom of your pants in particular to get super wet even when you've planned to be out in it.
