    Was hunting deer down on Rock Creek and there is a cliff face that's nice to hike along and there was a blind corner where a moose had bedded down. We spooked each other and he quickly realized he had the size advantage despite being a yearling and took after me. I got like three steps in the foot deep snow and he leveled me head right into my pack and stepped on my rifle and bruised my thigh real good. The snow was nice and cushy so that probably saved my life I manage to crawl up the sheep trail and make my way over the cattle gate where he couldn't go and he ran back to his mamma who had a calf and kept running him off so he was kinda grumpy I guess :lol: Didn't even notice but at some point I bit wrong or something hit me and I broke about 1/2 of my left back molar off. I then went off to my friend's house and had a nice breakfast of pancakes that his Mom made us. Got a deer a couple days later on my birthday in the same spot.
