In reality in this day and age money comes from stupid places. YouTube "Stars" make millions of dollars, its about being popular. Others sell technology (i.e. apps). The absolute best advice I could give is similar to what Dave Ramsey (Daveramsey.com) teaches. Live within your means and actively attack your debt and save. Use the lack of debt to invest that money into other things such as real estate.

 

It depends entirely on how old you are and how much risk you're willing to have. If you put your money in a boring ~6% index fund, a 20 year old can retire a millionaire on ~$12/day, by 30 you need about ~$24/day, a 40 year old needs to invest $55/day, and by 50 you're looking at closer to $130/day.

This is not especially useful if you need to be rich now.

OR...There is a Nigerian Prince who needs to transfer money, but needs you to send them some first to open an account. The prince’s representatives will provide information as to where you will send the money and promise you they will transfer your millions right after.

 

If we knew some get rich scheme that worked we wouldn't be here.

 

All I want is some information on a decent savings account that will beat inflation.
