Freak storm last night and we lost power around 10. It is not expected to be back on until around 11 tonight. Glad to see it looks like a slow day. Guess there is no sense draining my battery and using my hotspot... It is going to be a long day!

 

I swear, some of the people on /r/mturk are just so dumb. I know a vocal minority doesn't represent the entire /r/mturk population, but holy crap it makes me feel bad for requesters if those are the type of people taking their surveys.

Ding ding ding - You're the winner! - It still says "No sim card" when it come on but i am getting Verizon to send me a blank one. For the non-apple users out there the feature is called Handoff. I can be working on my Powerbook, got to my iPad and resume, and finish it on my iPhone. That applies to certain Mac apps like mail, messages, notes, calendar etc

 

My dog pisses me off today. I give her chewable pills in a nice big piece of ham and she eats them for a week and today just eats the ham and spits the pills out, multiple times. I just put down her throat

Clearly she has outsmarted you. You need to change your tactics slightly, that's all. Start using different foods. My dog is happy with just peanut butter because he's not very smart, but sometimes cheese works too.

Calling Verizon is such a pain. They use contracted call centers so you never know what level of idiot you will get. I was a Tier 3 Manager at Coleman in Norfolk for their DSL and we had some idiots there

My dog is super smart. She cant stand up by herself so she looks at me until she gets my attention and then looks at what she wants whether it be water, food, or a treat. If I dont get it she looks back at me and looks at it again

 

I also trained her to bark real mean when she enters a room from outside just by doing it myself everytime she comes in. You should see the looks on peoples faces at the vet when we go in
