    Has anyone here replaced their hot water heater? My experience w/ windows was that while labor was semi-expensive, it was not 4x the cost of materials..

    Total cost on quote: $1,475
    Cost of hot water heater model when I google it: $376

    Or the fancy one w/ wifi: $578
    Total cost: 1,859

    Do cold showers really sound that bad? :emoji_thinking:

    So my mom's was replaced when I was living with her briefly a few years back, and a dude literally wheeled the new unit in, and left 10 minutes later. If labor is THAT expensive, you're getting ripped off.
