So I did one PFA to test to see if they stopped being super slow this morning... and it already approved.. I thought that they waited 2 days AA pay stuff?

 

On the topic of finding a new camera body: people on Craigslist are the most frustrating thing.

 

They've always taken 2 days to approve anytime I did them over the last couple weeks. Mine approved after a few minutes as well. I'm not sure why. Maybe them approving early takes some stress off their servers?

 

I am also leary with people on CL with such expensive items, I am still debating between dslr and mirrorless, which body are you looking into?

Currently chatting with a guy about a T2i - I had a T1i before. If it falls through I'm looking at just getting an SL1 from Best Buy. I don't have any experience with mirrorless, unfortunately, so I couldn't offer much insight there.

I don't mind CL, honestly. Had all good experiences. Except with negotiating, because people don't understand that even 1%.

 

I was looking for a new car, contacted a handful of people who had either JUST put up ads that day or updated their ads that day. I never heard back from 90% of those contacted until weeks later. Like by then I am no longer interested. Why would you put up an ad and then ignore it for a week or two?

Yeah, I've sold a lot of things. Dozens of transactions, never been shot. So I like it.

 

I've managed to keep myself busy for the past ~2 hrs of serious Turking and it's a nice change after the long holiday weekend. Ready for some batches to make the real cash today though. I refuse to do the PFAs, they make my eyes hurt.

 

I have no studies available to me right now. I don't seem to get a lot of them ... must be too old for their tastes ...

 

I hope so for the people who actually like them.. They need to do something about them.. imho they should fix the server issues and raise the pay to 25cents per at the very least... but I doubt that they will do a pay raise unless they do a legit qual

 

They were 50 cents for 15 images a few years ago...it was mad money...just cannot do them now

 

Yeah, I sell a ton of things for the rich dudes on the board of the airport and they cut me part of the profit cause they are too fancy and important to do it themselves. I'm not complaining!

 

I need to find me some rich people to do that for. I mostly do it for family who is mostly too confused about the concept of CL to use it.

 

I can't expect them to go back to that pay ... but I won't do them at the current pay outside of the rare time I do a single one to test speed.
