    and now you have touched on the tip of the iceburg ... It has taken a full year to get a stable "staff" of caregivers which come out of my pocket ... depending on where I move staffing issues may ensue ... the timing and strategics are quit ovewhelming as I spend about 20-22 hours a day in bed or recliner chair ...

    there was an over-55 apartment community in the city where I live that did this a year or 2 ago. evicted everybody to renovate all the apartments then raise rents. somehow the local news media found out and ran a few stories on it. people from the city stepped in with help to pay deposits and other moving costs in some cases. most of the help was not financial iirc, it was helping actually find a place for a person and the practical moving things. I don't know if it would help but it did here.

    Worst of it is there seems to be a rash of these takeovers in our area. One in a suburb about 10 miles from me, ours, and two in the main part of the city. They are all going down at the same time. I'm wondering if it is all the same company.

    I've always maintained I was not moving out of here until the undertaker showed up ... again perhaps I will get the last laugh ... People don't want to rent places where someone has died ....
