    Depends on how big the DB is. When I was testing it for load last year it would take it over an hour for it to finish for me.

    Well you do have a decent amount of data in your database... what is the actual size on the export? I have a feeling it is around 40MB or something crazy.

    0, I don't use HITDB. I only did it to see if anything would break with a large DB.
    250k HITs in the DB is more than what I tested it with.

    Importing 180k backup took about 15 sec the first time. I waited ~4 mins the 2nd time then closed and re-opened Dash. The 3rd time took ~8 sec. :dunno:
