Why tf did I just do a 10 minute survey that was 0.30?? I must be accepting hits too quickly. Holy shit. I debated not turning it it out of principle even though I finished it but that shiny 30 pennies spoke to me. -_-

my x220t is 5 years old and I still get about 8 hours of turking life out of the battery. I loves me my thinkpad

 

I love what thinkpad used to be... they are kind of garbage now though.

 

I really hate any other laptop design. I really like having the mouse buttons above the trackpad. It's nice being able to click with my thumb.

Hey you guys are a knowledgeable bunch. Do you suppose I could get any better laptop for Mturking/adobe design software/playing games [not the most current] for under $600 (on amazon because I send my mturk money there as a way to force myself to save it) than this one?

I am getting close to having $600 on my gift card and am horribly indecisive. Not expecting anyone to research this topic for me just maybe one of you happen to know of a better laptop off-hand.

 

Why are they garbage now? I remember hearing about that malware thing, but I thought that thinkpads were excluded from that.

The design and quality just hasn't been as good the past few year but they could easily make another good laptop and I would consider it if I ever was in the market for one. Personally I like dell's XPS laptops but I haven't looked too closely in awhile because I'm not in the market for a new laptop.

Thanks, I could not get it exactly like I wanted, but I don't use photoshop I use various online tools to make my gifs/memes, but yeah I had a lol after looking at it

 

Heh I'm looking at my data usage so far from my drive and I've used 1.6GB on plex to play my music and 500MB for tethering to my laptop. I have tmobile's unlimited plan so I can use as much data as I want.

(I may or may not be streaming FLAC from my server)
