Is this the new and improved one we were promised?

 

I mean, I have flair ups and I usually post copious gif jokes about my imminent death but I’m pretty much just used to it by now. I wanted to pull my own hair out when I was too sick to work at all, and over my actual dead body will I go back to living in a hospital or being totally bed bound and miserable. It’s not a fun way to live.

There’s a solid reason why I walk and hike and sometimes roll rather than marathoning or something. Walking is something I can do just about no matter what, even if I’m just hobbling with my dog. I can stop and sit on a rock for 20 minutes when I feel queasy , I can take a zofran and drink some Gatorade and let it pass, and I can flat out take a nap on a trail if I need it. It’s been good for my mental health and my general happiness because being trapped in my room or at my desk all the time is not a happy experience and finding a way to be active again (tho certainly not to the extent of my dance days) in some way has made me a less anxious and more pleasant partner and bird in general.

This is getting to be very Game of Thrones. Everyone claiming the throne, knowing good and well the chick with the white hair is the one that deserves it.
