The game badge spreads like a disease.

 

hrm.. scrolling up quickly.. the issue is in poorly typed format:

1) 15min is not really a time indicative of the workload for the average worker.. you may well have sat there for 15 minutes tracing a whale's tale, and if you did that's fine, more power to you, but its not what most workers are going to do, nor is it really reasonable to do. So it just isn't all that accurate in context.

2) It goes to the Requester's public profile. I'm pretty sure that guy isn't intending you to sit there for 15 minutes for 4c. He may well want some pretty accurate work, but just looking over the task I'm sure that even if it turns out to be a pretty poor hourly I could submit the quality level he's looking for in far less than 15 minutes. I just did one in 3min 16s w/ reading the instructions etcetc.. that hourly is pretty piss poor without having to be exaggerated.

In general on TV if you booboo an hourly in the Requester's favor its not a huge deal because someone will be by to correct it quickly. Doing so in the wrong direction - especially at orders of magnitude away from the average Turker - is unfair to all the other parties using the service.

Not really a huge deal, not trying to Grinch at ya or anything, TV does an incredibly poor job at accepting & parsing negative datapoints atm, just trying to explain it from the POVs on why its preferable to not submit something like that atm
