If I spent 2 hours working on a batch, what would my earnings be, reasonably? Based on the reviews, some of their HITs seem to be easier than others, but I am wondering about the average (not the super easy ones).

You will spend a fair amount of time working for less than minimum wage.

When you get good at them, an average effective pace of $20/hr is totally possible. Ie, you'd have $20 at the end of an hour long period.

When batches are absolute fire, you can make $100/hr, if you're creative & very good at the HITs.

The odds of those kinda batches appearing after another paydrop, I don't know.

But it is better to have the qual than not, because the batches do sit around forever. But you'll be working for less than min-wage for a while unless you're just a savant.

It depends. The different cities/counties have their own quirks and +/- to deal with. People have different workflows too. I think my style is the exact opposite of @Jesicu, but I do alright.

I'd say it's better to try the qual with the possibility of getting it, rather than returning it and not having a chance of doing the at all. Of course, I have no problem with people returning it, because more $$$ for me.

Yeah, I already returned it, this is just entirely unacceptable garbage. If you want workers to do work, give them a task that can be completed without random guessing or poring over grainy satellite images. Giving a single clue that relies on imagery that isn't available isn't a challenge, it's an insult. The only other step that could give a good result is is a violation of their posted rule.
