    You can't view them with like. A quality-chocolate-appeal mindframe, It's the peanuttyness and their specific chocolate texture that is smooth, but not so sweet as to be overwhelming that makes them easy to like. Shovel in your mouth, kind of? Like certain crappy cheeses. They aren't super exciting, the appeal lies elsewhere.

    It's like the worst kind of chocolate (Hershey, yeah that's right I said it) combined with a bland bit of peanut in an obnoxious yellow wrapper.

    I know, but the entire simplicity of the candy bar is it's appeal, and they make it work. They even nail it with the wrapper, and didn't ever change it, despite complaints from probably the entire universe. Mr. Goodbars are so underappreciated.
