I have discovered the joy of the frozen Kong treat. It takes even King well over an hour and a half to get through it. It's basically some sort of gross meaty popsicle for him during the summer months, too.

 

I was thinking about getting one of those. Right now I have an hollow bone that I fill with peanut butter and freeze

King loves his. I've been using a combination of wet food and his normal kibble and topping it with peanut butter.

He's a 65 lb pit bull, I got him the big black extreme one because his head is ridiculous. He's about mid sized for a dog, though. He's even a bit smaller than my sister's ~45lb lab mix, even though he's 20 pounds more than her.

 

We use the black kong for the golden because he destroys everything, the other guys are fine with the red ones. I think June would probably need a black one though just from jaw strength from the breed

kongs with peanut butter are awesome
and frozen raw bones (from the butcher, not the over priced store crap) are awesome

Do the frozen raw bones have marrow in them?

 

yeah I was buying them at the pet store at first but the prices were fucking outrageous so I went butcher route. but they look just like the pet store ones with the frozen marrow and it keeps them entertained foreverrrrr. Helpful when I have to kick them all out to the yard for a bit to clean or w/e

 

The lady I got June from gave me a hollowed out one that she says she puts peanut butter in and puts it in her crate but 1) June refuses to stay but a second in her crate and 2) she just bounces in and licks it every once in a while.

I think that June was crated all day and now that she is out all day she is freaking out. She just walks around the house whining a lot or on occasion she will jump up on the couch freaking out. She jumped in my face when I said outside yesterday and bent my glasses
