    Someone made a joke. A critical mass of forum members went "screw you, we're gonna take it seriously". Nobody knows how to stop it now, it's like a chain reaction where the initiator is like @ThisPoorGuy acting as the initiator and he got overwhelmed by the rest of us acting like the blizzard of neutrons*. @ChrisTurk is grumpy about it.

    * As a note of interest, I studied nuclear physics in my undergrad degree.
