sometimes I search all over mturk for quals I don't have and try to get them. other times I read that there is a qual to get on here.

 

thanks for the reply, when you search on your own what do you typically look for? certain requesters, ect? i tried getting quals tons of times and unless they come from here i never get them...

I search for quals directly on mturk, not with a script. I arrange the hits by newest first. then go through each page. look at the ones I'm not qualled for and see if they might be worth it by just looking at them. anything with a qual test, I usually take it even if the hits don't look good. if there isn't a test, then request the qual or not depending on if the hits look good. I haven't done that lately so idk if there are good quals available. other people say doing that is a waste of time, but it works for me.
