another key to making it work for you is exactly this: figuring out what works for you. some people do ONLY surveys, some people do ONLY batches. you'll find you might be best at a certain type of work and suck at another, so you'll know what to keep your eye out for and what to not waste too much time and energy on if it's not one of your strengths.

also, using downtime to do other stuff. if you need to work, then keep working, by all means. but if you just can't, then tweak your workflow, find new scripts, lurk reviews for new requesters to watch, find quals, etc. i've only made $20 today (i aim for $75-100 a day), but i've also done some work on my workflow and scripts (aka asking @leafs4_cup to help me with something that took him <5 minutes and he did it better, after i spent a few hours trying to figure out on my own first lol).

tldr; find out what works for you and work it.

 

Hmmm i have always worked on .40 or higher for years. How are you guys able to catch the big ones with all of the small ones taking up the room?

I feel like a jerk but I kept mine and did not contribute. I swear every time I get screwed on those types of HITS so I stopped assuming people used common sense and have to be greedy to get paid anything.

 

Honestly you've probably come out ahead in the long run.

 

And what tends to make the biggest difference no matter the platform or topic in life: make friends (connections). I'm sure they exist somewhere, but I know no one who turks without some sort of inner social circle.

Just not with anyone here, they're all crazy and liable to turn up on your doorstep with pitchforks & torches.

 

I don't do math at this level. I just try to constantly be finding hits, whatever they may be, if you see something worth pandaing, panda it, if you're not working and see something decent at any payout on your scraper, grab it. It's honestly 100% about staying active and engaged.
