This reminds me of how a few years back, we were listening to "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus," and Matt comments that the mom is a real ho. He seems annoyed about this too.

I looked at him and said, "Dude...he saw his mom kissing SANTA because SANTA is his DAD dressed as SANTA."

Matt just stared out the window for awhile, completely silent. It had never occurred to him. That was up there with the time I explained the song Werewolves of London to him.

He never listened to most of the lyrics and thought it was just a rock song about kickass werewolves running around having fun.

I had to explain how it was a song about werewolves ripping people apart around London. He thought I was fucking with him and googled the lyrics.

It's a running theme that Matt never knows the real lyrics to songs. He actually didn't think the words in songs meant anything for so long, they made his mom have a chat with him about it when he was a kiddo. He's had the knack from a young age.
