    I mean, it’s worth noting we both left that place for a reason and then one of the biggest $$$ on the board of directors left like a month later and then a couple more board members followed over the last year. They just hired some big shot to run the place cause of all the crap.

    I was the only woman employed there for a reason tbh. It was not a lady friendly work environment and since Matt worked there before I did, I got treated even more like a ditz no matter how good I was at my job. I honestly doubt they would have even hired a woman (the other candidates were all dudes) if Matt and a couple other pilots hadn’t recommended me as firmly as they did.

    This is the same place where there was a 90 year old man called Uncle John who “ hugged,” all the women and I was told to deal with said hugs. I did not. They were kinda creepy AF hugs.

    Right? I say now that I made it to 44 and all the asbestos,paint fumes (when paint was real) fiberglass insulation etc etc I inhaled working on houses and add in all the coffee and other food hasn't offed me yet I'm good and will still coast to my target age of 70
