Pork rinds are real, it's just made with the skin instead of the belly.

Finally god the kiddo asleep. We still talking about weird shirt that we ate? Don't care pulling a @leafs4_cup on this and jumping in wherever.
    1. Elk heart and liver- Not my favorite but you only get so many chances to do it :dunno:
    2. Mountain Lion-Tasted like pork and was in fact pretty good
    3. Antelope (Pronghorn) heart- Nope not gonna do it again
    4. Bear Lard- Used it to make pie crust for huckleberry pie
    5. Bear- Again tasted like pork and was pretty good
    6. Wild Boar- Cooked on a spit in Texas was really frickin' good
I've eaten other stuff too but this was all stuff harvested by me or my hunting buddy.

Most Mexican dishes are regional, so there isn't one type. With something like Menudo, some are pork, some tripe, some have pezole.
