    @Randomcats's brother is not allowed to use the dishwasher or wash dishes in his apartment. Perhaps they have a similar arrangement. That and they're just plain lazy slobs who are content to live in their own filth because cleaning up small messes as they come is too hard.

    It's just not the norm in this particular town (fridges, AC, dishwashers are not a normal apartment amenity here). The only people we know with a dishwasher (in this town) own their own house or rent from a house with an old one. Fridges are also not a guarantee, outside of the one big complex that said matt made too much for us to live there that has ac/dishwashers/and free laundry.

    Now, 2/3 of the houses we looked at to rent had a dishwasher and 1 also had a washer/dryer, so you know what I'm pulling for here.

    I FORGOT HOW MUCH A TIME SUCK DOING IT ALL BY HAND IS AHHHH.

    Also, suck...heh heh...by hand...heh heh heh
