Tell me one good reason that you missed an attention check other than reading thoroughly?

If you do not read stuff which you agreed to do so while giving consent, then missing an attention check is nothing but an obvious attempt at cheating.

when the attention check is written poorly and can have multiple answers

 

I've failed that intro attention check to some of the Wharton studies more times than I really even care to count.. Y'know the one where it is a single sentence of some odd piece of information & is just so painfully obvious on the next screen they're going to ask you exactly what it said and give you two totally ridiculous answers + the actual correct one that even if you were drooling on yourself you could still probably pass it? Yeah, those ones.

I don't think I've ever intentionally tried cheating Wharton.

...except if they've done a coin toss game. Then maybe.
