FWIW in the current discussion, the weekly averages are +$50/wk over what they were last year.. so on average folks are still having better weeks than YTD.. 9/25/2017 was $179/wk-avg for 27 people, 9/24/2018 was $207/wk-avg for 38.. honestly that trend holds true across month->month YTD comparisons.. june/july/aug shit on sept

8/20/2018 -> 213/wk@42 (this one is the only worse.. & its def bad but its also mid-bot storm lol)

So last year was the same deal.. summer good, sept was dropped.. oct 2017 was:

Which is well above the sept 2017 #s:

Like obviously none of these #s are complete indicators but the trend certainly seems to be there.. sept blows, picks up in oct and that was w/ no political crap going on I believe

Anyway, point being you should be doing year:year comparisons not month to month IMO. Maybe I'll try to pull a comparison table if I can.. I can probably pull posts & just run them through the weekly script if I edited it a bit to parse older records
