You guys have direction and drive you are good, you have work, animal fam, and are driven, i see mad benefits in your future, SOCal sucks though the north is the good life you should tell matt to build planes in yakima

they offered him such a fucked salary in that town for a cost of living that just did not compute. He was so bummed too, cause he really wanted to take it but they wanted him to take a pay cut with a cost of living that was higher than we had at the time. It didn’t make financial sense sadly.

LOL I only mentioned it cuz ive been recruited to work there several times, and we've talked about it so I knew he was. I have high hopes about yakima in this next decade but yeah its a shit hole currently, a lot of places in eastern Washington just need skilled laborers right now though

 

Id be so stoked if y'all moved here where im at but it would probably just end up being me showing up at ur place Grinching about my weak ass earnings and praying to alter of bearnie

The funny part was he might have taken it had they not pulled that crap where they lured him out to the interview with one salary and then offered him like 20k less when he got home. Uhm, nope?

He’s loving the design engineer life currently tho, they keep promoting him and he’s just chugging along, completely oblivious why it’s going so well cause...Matt crap.

The fact they put him in charge of a team cracks me up- the great and terrible reign of matty boy!

Who knows what he’ll want to do in a few years tho. I just expect high levels of shenanigans and for him to eventually come home and tell me something completely outlandish sounding like, “ IVE DECIDED TO GO TO [jnsert new state here] TO DESIGN MOON MISSLES PEW PEW!”

 

All I’m getting from this is: “ I will pet sit for you on short notice for free food.”

honestly the offers ive been given in yakima are weak its becoming a town of industry that just low balls what it needs.
