Puerto Rican grandma & Italian grandma. There's always rice and beans and homemade sauce in my house. You walk anywhere near my house, you get fed.

Oh god yeah I bought it straight from the fishmonger in the market. I dont wanna touch that ugly fucker or look at it. Worst you might have to do is see it and then ask if they will cut it for you.

 

That will go nice with your waffles that are also blue.

 

We actually rarely do gravy here. You'd think with all 3 of my living aunts being diabetic they'd cook healthier, but nah. It doesn't work that way here.

When I was younger I used to be a very picky eater. There were some things I flat out would not eat no mater what. I am not as strict as now but I still won't eat some things.

I LOVE WHALE SHARKS! Georgia Aquarium is ma jammm. Matt had a fit when he saw the giant sting rays. We looked at the diagrams on the wall and he goes, "there's no way they are THAT big. that's a lie." And then he saw it, and his mind was blown. He kept dragging me back to that part of the aqarium to see them again. It was the most childlike enthusiasm for something I've ever seen from him.

 

i guess frozen pizza with some old veggies isn't poor people's food, but whatever

 

LOL I was surprised that they were actually peas but you have to be careful buying them because I've accidentally bought green peas. And that is gross. I had to throw that batch of rice out and make a new one. I have since learned my lesson.

OMG YES! That's how I put on 20lbs in three years. Everytime we go over there it's food, food, FOOD.
His grandmother can't speak any English and the first time I met her, she ended up feeding me pizza, cookies, more cookies, chicken, and rice and beans. I kept saying no, no more! and do you think she listened or that anyone helped me out??

I didn't eat that weekend. I was so bloated and gross, but damn the food was good lol.

 

did you know that aquarium opened even before it was fully finished. it was weird to see half set up tanks XD

Huh. I guess I could go to the fish market one day and see if they have any. I'd have to make myself forget about what they look like for hours after before I'd even touch the meat and then google how to cook it
