my grandfather when he was still 60% there (dementia)used to go across to the bank a lot. for what, no idea tbh. he actually was kidnapped and forced to take out near 10k from different branches until at the 3rd branch the transactions got flagged. when the kidnappers realized that no more money was coming they just left him at that branch in bumfuck other end of the city. needless to say he got a permanent nanny and a driver after that. money wasn't recovered, ppl weren't found. they used drugs on him to disorient him even more i believe

Oh yeah, I was there for about 3 hours with her. I'll probably stop by again tonight. The problem is her memory, so by tomorrow she won't even remember most of it. She's not really that scared though because doesn't realize how bad it is. There is no point in me yelling at her or making her feel bad because it wouldn't do any good.
