But I was about to comment that yoga pants are the shit, and if I'm not wearing a dress, I'm wearing my tight black cropped yoga pants and a flowy top cause they are so comfortable and make my ass look like BAM!

Alright so AMT fees on tasks are already 20-40% minimum, and up to 100% or higher, without this arbitration system. Do you earnestly believe it is in your best interest to have them increase those fees (taking more $ out of your pocket) in order to hire some schmuck to deal with this and side with the requester 99.995% of the time anyway (because requesters are the customer, and Amazon has shown time and time again that they will side with the customer across their platforms)? This is without considering the same idiots who go on a rampage on TO doing so to this system instead.

Realistically nothing about this idea actually works in the real-world implementation you'd get. I'm not trying to be a dick but so many workers seem to want this thing that is bad for them in every conceivable iteration of it lol. Trying to separate the worker viewpoint on this idea versus what we'd all almost certainly end up with, even if I didn't think it was an already unnecessary thing.

What really needs to happen is Amazon needs to change their documentation for requesters because most of them just blindly follow the guidelines of rejections/blocks as a recommendation from AMT themselves. Edit: or change the system itself so old work isn't weighted as heavily as new work, allowing for an account that drops into "bad standing" to eventually get itself out of it. Hell, there are a dozen better ways to handle the "problem" than this cost-prohibitive system.

And the money from the last account is still locked away in it.. So they got what out of this?

There is a 'report HIT' button, and by all accounts requesters do have their accounts suspended similar to workers who eat a lot of blocks.

At first it was okay as time counted down, but now I've got a little over a day until that Adolescent Moral Development Lab HIT expires and they haven't sent me anything since Feb. 23 and even then, that was just my second survey of a supposed five. I've sent them a message, but I'm not too hopeful. :/

 

Is it? Is there no function to withdraw funds if a requester completes their study? That's interesting to know. I get that the logistics of it don't really work but it's very lopsided to the requesters benefit. Perhaps if Amazon incorporated something like TO into the platform and used low ratings as a trigger to look into requesters that may be incorrectly rejecting and/or blocking folks. I know in the end it doesn't matter. Our options are to eat the bad rejects and/or eat the bad rejects while pissing and moaning about it. Obviously I choose the latter lol.

As for the report hit button that needs to be accessible after the hit is submitted and no longer active.
