Sitting at a trail head, it’s brutally windy and about 34. The sun has yet to really come up over the mountains. I forgot my gloves. I DID remember spare wool socks. Am I going to use wool socks for mittens until it warms up? UH YEAH. I LIKE MY HANDS STILL FUNCTIONAL.

Pros:
This ran pretty smoothly, given that I was allegedly participating with several other random but "real" partners.

Cons:
Waiting in between rounds made this one not pay so well.
The instructions indicated that bonus would be paid for TWO randomly selected rounds. However, when it revealed my bonus at the end, I was only given a bonus for one round and, naturally, it was the lowest paid round.

Nah! I’m just drinking my plum Red Bull, watching the sun crest the mountains, and then I’ll scurry onto the trail.

@Buntastic normally mom bugs me to remember everything but she told me to hike naked so I don’t think she was concentrating on winter hiking layers last night. Hot chocolate when I’m back tho, for sure. Great idea!
