Well, I found the resume survey by coincidence, I returned it immediately, after seeing how many lines to fill out.

Wait was he asking about thanksgiving week or this past week? I have been making good money the past few weeks.

 

I'm logged in 12 hrs a day with HF set to unqualified and overwatch and one eye on the forums. Anything else I could do to increase my chances of getting some quals?

Oh dear god, I REALLY need to up my working. Holy shit I'm a small fry and I fucking pay my bills with this. I could be living way better then I already am if I work a bit harder.

 

Was basically asking what to expect for the holiday season and was asking what the experience was like for anyone around this time last year. I've heard it kind of dies for surveys around this time and then doesn't pick back up til mid-January.

 

Do them when they are up? Honestly most of my earnings aren't from 'closed quals' or anything like that.

 

it seems I became 4th on both NBA and EPL last week. I demand a recalculation which makes me at least 3rd or I demand a prize for the 4th winner. @leafs4_cup @MyLegIsFine

 

Nah you are prob just hearing that from /r/mturk and they suck at turking lol. The only reason my earnings are lower during thanksgiving week is because I choose not to work and spend time with my family.

If you have no family or your family hates you so you aren't with them you should expect it to not be that different than any other time of the year.

 

I'll be spending time with my family on the actual holidays but I still gotta make money any other day. I mainly do surveys, though. I imagine you do more batches and that kind of thing. Are surveys still all right?

I do pretty much everything besides transcription and paraphrasing and even those two I will do if the pay is high enough ect.

 

The way to get an answer that actually applies to you is to look at where the bulk of your earnings come from. If you rely on academic surveys, you'll probably do worse during holidays. If your earnings come from businesses that run through the holidays (VRAPI, etc) then there will likely be something for you to do & less competition if you're available to do it while others aren't.
