As a dog owner, you kinda have to. I have had some very, very negative reactions from people (she is half pit so that may factor in) when all she does is want to say hi and sniff/lick your hand and is secretly just 70 lb loving baby.

 

Three of my dogs are fine, but Ginger is one prissy little Grinch about her nails. Sweetest dog, but turns into a monster if you want to clip or file those claws. Loves the brush though. She prances around to show off after I brush her.

Yep, that's King too. Want to clean his ears? Under the bed. Rub him down with some dry shampoo? Under the bed. Put flea medicine on him? Under the bed. He practically lives down there at this point.

Did someone say dogs?! Skeeter didn't wanna go home and then tired out on the way back cause he was so amped

 

I wish people around here had dogs like that. Dogs bite people all the time around here, plus they are aggressive to other dogs. My big boy is really friendly, but some mean dog runs up on him and he will ragdoll that thing if I don't pin him down. I can't ever let him off a leash unless we're at the dog park.

Too many wannabe cholos with pit bulls and rots that they think should be tough.

 

Since we are pupper sharing, my two divas. Izzy (right) is 22 years old. Peppa is 3 months old.

I love dogs and I don't care if they are off leash if friendly, but I've had some scary run ins where off leash dogs come barreling up to a leashed Skeet without their owner in sight and then I get my head bit off if Skeeter is growling. He has a very excitable reaction to friendly puppers, but a few have growled at me or otherwise tweaked him out and I felt super duper uncomfortable with some off leash dog and my dog ready to square off and I cannot see their owner- I had this happen with a pair of dogs who ran up to me and Skeeter on a trail and I was super sketched out.

I just wanna love dogs, but also not have my dog end up stressed out

I don't mind dogs off leash if friendly, but if I see an untrained dog, acting up, I'm running inside.

Wow! A new box with pad, water food AND a feast. All inside out of the weather. A lucky beast.(I've had several of those)...Can I come and be you cat?...My mother was like that, too. She used to say that she wanted to come back as her dog.
