Is it just me or do you ever get tired of filling out surveys about your work environment or your job? Part of the allure of Mechanical turk for me is getting AWAY from my job. lol But, it seems that escape is fleeting.

Are you all alone? Is there anyway to stop it before it gets worse?

 

I'm pretty bummed, those trees are the coolest. I didn't have any reason to worry about it coming down either, just straight up one crack and it split like that. It's still cracking with every gust of wind and I hold my breath every time waiting for something worse to happen.

Yeah I live alone, and nope, nothing I can do. We're in the middle of bad storm, schools and businesses are already closed tomorrow because of it. I texted my landlord the pictures and that's all I can really do for now, I doubt he'll even make it here until like Tuesday, because he's a bit north where it's even worse. The way it's leaning against the house, I think it should be okay and, at worst, take out the really terrible front porch that should have come down years ago anyway. If it breaks any further, it should just slide/roll casually down the roof, maybe hopefully, and the worst that would do is block my front door. I already moved my cars far away from any possible trajectory. knock on wood
