I've heard too many horror stories dealing with insurance. Thankfully (I guess?) every time I get an attack/flare up I go to the same place. The one time they accidentally sent me a massive 10k bill and the payments department was super nice.

I did an internship at an insurance company many years ago in college, fuck em all they're greedy af.

I've mostly been fine with my own hospitalizations (and I totally get frequenting the same hospital for flair ups, samesies bro!) but this incident has just been bonkers. Our insurnace has not even heard from the hospital, and all the other bills have been settled by now (and that was some bs in itself). They waited months to send me an updated bill, so we're not even on the same policy any longer. Goody. The insurance is actually being nice to us, it's just the hospital who swears Matt doesn't even have coverage and I'm not sure what the heckum is going on, but five more minutes of this and I'm gonna get mad!
