    I haven't picked that up yet but I could see that happening since the game seems a bit more complicated. With rimworld I'm just sort of waiting for my next buffet...er, raid to happen so I can dice them up and make human stew. Oh and chairs/clothing from their skin ;)

    If you're worried about PvP dont. The server size is too small for such a massive map I barely interact with anyone. I was semi looking forward to it when I got better gear but I've only had like 3 fights in 60 hours or so.

    As for story I get why people don't like it. It's a different approach and it's much more broad the story is focused on the location and not your specific character really (I think I haven't progressed very much into it all). Honestly I'd wait a month or so in that case because it looks like they are fixing all the issues/bugs/etc before they start pumping out content in the updates
