Eh, agree to disagree there. A question that begins with either an explicit or an implied "If you're reading this, then do (x)" is an attention check.

FWIW the general rule is if its not attached to an actual survey its fine. Qualtrics posts most of their default attention check methods in public help docs, its not exactly proprietary info.

Posting "there is an A/C in the third question on the 2nd page" would get modded.

Posting "there is an A/C in the third question on the 2nd page that is broken and will not allow advancement" will likely sit until proven false because the content isn't revolving around the A/C its revolving around the fact the survey is broken & needs to be avoided by people who do not get paid to work on things they cannot submit. Should the user say "there is a prompt" or something more non-descriptive? Sure, but the intent isn't to disrupt the data quality.

Posting an A/C that is outright hostile & could result in account bans from a poorly thought through prompt (who the fuck, as a native English speaker, actually starts sentences with the name of a month outside responding to a direct question, news flash people are going to brain fart that out of 30 years of habitually using the language then being asked to do so in a way that makes NO SENSE for the content you're even attempting to filter) is most def gonna slide.

TL;DR: Nuance in balancing the interests of two parties.
