Yeah, it just hasn't gotten better. Kiddo just went through it a couple of years ago. I sat through what they were showing the boys on parent preview night (FINALLY GOT MY CHANCE TO SEE THAT!!! Decades off wondering are finally behind me!)

I thought, "They haven't found a better way to do this since I was a kid? Hell, I'm better at this!"

Kiddo came home and asked why his teacher was telling him how to clean himself. I said that sometimes kids don't have parents who will do it so someone has to. He looked at me incredulous and said, "But, you taught me when I was like, six!"

Damn right I did.
