12/07 - Flurry Friday!

I wash my jeans after each use because I'm a monster or something.

 

*stops doing everything and learns about freezing jeans*

 

i dont know why they'd say it'd kill the bacteria. if they would have just kept it at it gets rid of the smell, for a little while, it would have been a perfectly valid claim.

 

No, just no. I mean wtf. Why buy something that expensive?

Ok, I'm being judgy. I own me an expensive purse or two...but frack, I don't sweat in those.

 

And my kid's expensive ass jeans are already in the dryer so oh well.

 

It is what poor people do when they buy expensive stuff. They overly baby it when actually good stuff will last.

Another example of these would be the plastic over the couch thing that some people do that prevents the couches from even being comfortable.

 

you can be judgy all you want. i dont think anyone here is getting offended by the washing of jeans

 

to be fair to me that was for halloween
I just happen to continue to wear it here and there

For some people, it's a status symbol. Some people also enjoy collecting/trading expensive designer clothes.

 

I am actually currently experimenting on this with a tapestry thing I ended up with from one of my grandparents. It smells like cooking oil but I can't wash it without ruining it. It's in my freezer right now.

 

Oh god, you're giving me flashbacks. My piano teacher's whole house was covered in that stuff and it creeped the fuck out of little me, so I stopped going after like 2 lessons haha

 

Clearly what you need to do is start burning incense near it so it picks up that smell instead. That's how it works, right?
