Right, it was just under 14$. But they want me to verify my bank account info...my fault. I had been done with paypal but let my daughter borrow and she paid me back through them.

Well I will say my main bank's instant connect thing never works (my other bank does) .... but it is at least worth trying to see if she can just login and connect it instead of fucking with google pay.

Pros:
I let myself run low on time and I submitted the HIT before the survey was complete. I messaged requester to make them aware of the situation and that I was nearly finished and I would send the completion code in a few moments. I received a response in 20 minutes or less letting me know it was fine, my work was approved.

Cons:

Paypal also had these nice "business" mastercards that could pull right from your bank account for free. I had one for my daughter for "in case" (read gas and stuff for kids) they discontinued that unless you pay. Now they send you a "free" debit card that is a freaking pill to reload and only worth using if you have paypal money in your account.

 

Wouldn't it make more sense to have a credit card that is just set to autopay every month?

Yeah. Paypal Cash Card. It's a visa or MC debit card for money you have sitting in paypal only. It's a pain to add money too it if you had cash and wanted to put it on there. But it's great for spending money you have sitting in paypal already.

 

I see a can of Firestone Walker. Good times were had.

 

I just use my credit cards like a debit card and that works pretty well.

Well if you pay it you can use it. I make the min payment and she is supposed to pay it and use it as she likes. So there are times when I need to give her alternative money hence the paypal.

 

If the kid can't handle it you can punish them as a parent but they shouldn't use it to buy anything outside of gas and shit..
