It doesn't overtake your browser. It overtakes the whole screen. It is a program. So if you only have one screen, it will take the whole thing over, no matter how many browsers you have running.

Now you can set a 4k display has 4 separate 1080p displays and that would work but we both know that isn't what is happening here.

 

Yes, but when it closes out my browsers on my second monitor go to one third sized Windows locked to the left, and my task bar disappears.

 

Well that bites, I would borrow another monitor, I have my brother's and my old one, but my desk is too small for that.

 

and just so everyone knows because nobody ever told my ass when I was new:

you can kill the inquisit task early by hitting ctrl+q

vs you know, burning it all down, ctrlaltdel, etc etc

 

Just put one on top of the other.

I tried to download Inquisit once back in 2016, it failed, and so I have never done a single inquisit survey. Just hit return life is better that way
