I try to be patient for 48-72 hours. While it would be nice to have lightening fast response times, it just isn't the reality. At the same time, 9 days for a response is a bit inconsiderate. I try to respond to inqueries regarding hits for my research within 24 hours, and that is hard sometimes. So, I see both sides.

 

Also my dog has mysteriously gotten over his previous fear of wrapping paper. He loves wrapping paper now.

 

9 days is when you can hit that 1/5 button full throttle, lol.

 

sometimes I send them an email just for fun, although they approve very quickly and are very generous in hourly.

Should I go with UNACCEPTABLE if they do not reply to my nice email?

About two years ago I ate a mass rejection and block. Emailed politely, waited awhile, emailed again, waited, etc. Gave up. They replied 3 months later super apologetic, saying it was an error because they meant to reject and block someone else but ended up doing it to everyone who worked on the batch, and asked how to reverse them and if I'd work on their hits again.

 

I'm just glad I only did three. I saw how easy the work was and almost went ham. Thankfully they vanished quickly before I accepted anymore. Still feels pretty crappy tho. This is my first time being 'mass rejected' on a batch

 

If a Requester can't be bothered to respond in a grand total of 96 hours regardless of weekend/holiday, then they deserve a 1/5 period. I think I am being overly-generous on 96 hours but that includes Friday morning, a weekend, a Monday, and Tuesday morning to respond.

Or IOW, 48 hours on Business Days.

Exceptions of course reply. Vacation, major technical issues, etc, but those are vanishingly small.

I don't like how TV in general has somewhat watered down Worker expectations of Requesters, but @ChrisTurk knows my opinion on this and so does the board.
