A major thing is how long it takes to complete the training qualification HITs, but without specification as to how the actual HITs are going to be. - as the qual HITs are very underpaid and it would be a shame to go through it all to find out the actual HITs are also underpaid.

It's good to know they'll be around 15/hr now though.

 

I just have a feeling people are assuming the hourly pay will be the same as the qual which obviously is not intending to pay at 15 /hour.

As long as the work actually pays 15/hour and your data from those workers you're qualling is good, I don't think there are actually any issues.

Hopefully somebody who did the qual will be able to chime in as to if there are any actually problems w/the task itself.

 

There is definitely a difference between seeing your own guts, seeing the guts of someone in csats, seeing the guts of someone in a Saw movie, and seeing the guts of someone in Dahmer's apartment

 

The ability to separate oneself is key here.

 

i spent less than 10 minutes on your hit before returning it. I wasn't understanding it (or equally possible, i wasn't paying full attention to the instructions) and felt like the hourly wasn't worth it.

 

So you like to see your own guts, eh?

 

I returned this, but didn't write a review. I agree with the other comments you've gotten. I wasn't sure what the actual task would pay and I wasn't entirely clear on how much the bonus for completing the hit was. So it didn't seem worthwhile and I returned it before I started on it due to the uncertainty. I think if you made this information more clear in the hit description people would be more likely to complete the qual.

 

This is it for me too. I'm always like, "How can someone be so inherently broken?" It's fascinating, and horrible, and heartbreaking.

My mind is completely blown that they found the GSK/EAR/ONS. I had been obsessed and "knew" it would never happen, and lo and behold, he's behind bars. I can't bring myself to look at his pictures/videos of him in court because my brain cannot comprehend that someone can do what he did and look like a normal old grumpy dude. I cannot connect his crimes to his face and it fucks me right up.

Ed Kemper's interviews are nuts, I'm with you there! You've seen Mindhunter, right?

 

The instructions are somewhat vague in completing the HIT. Not to mention the length of time required to complete the HIT went trying to discern the vague instructions.

 

i was 14, at 17 i was cut all around and didnt bat an eye. i didn't mind the cut from the side of my leg to half way up my butt. I WAS TOLD IT WASNT GONNA BE A BIG CUT. all the lies lol

 

I'm going to remember this next time I Grinch about a papercut

also another question. How many of the HITs will one person be able to do? Will people be able to do it multiple times, or is it a one and done kind of thing?

You can do multiple HITs for the full game. Each game might take anywhere from 20-40min. We hope to qualify enough people that there is always a partner online to pair with.

We are hoping to continually release game HITs for around 2 months or more.
