There are wireless display techs but I doubt that your laptop has it. Most likely your laptop already has some sort of video out so I would just use whatever it already has.

Getting a wireless setup would be more expensive and a worse experience anyways.

 

Couldn't you cast a tab to the laptop? From whatever her main source is. Or am I totally not understanding what is being asked. More so asking for myself so I can add a second monitor.
