    Depends how you want to claim it. If you want to avoid deductions and whatnot, claim it as Other Income on line 21.

    If you want to depreciation certain things like say, your computer that you are using to turk, or the office space in your home, file a Sch C. I personally do the Sch C route since i depretiate my computer and can claim office space in my home used for turking. Helps lower your overall tax liability.

    I am not a CPA, just somebody who does thier own taxes every year. You are free to listen to me, but would suggest if you choose to claim it, contact a local CPA, tell them what you do, and have them do your taxes. The writeoffs on the Sch C will likely offset the cost. Otherwise, TurboTax is an excellent program that will guide you through all of this for much cheaper.

    Amazon is simply a hoster of HITs, so its not them paying you. Its the requesters that pay you. So unless you do over 600 bucks from a single requester, you will never get a 1099 from turking. Its up to you to choose to report or not report your earnings.

    Okay -- if the rejections are just coming in, I'll wait an half hour to see if it gets reversed because everyone got it. If it doesn't, I'll apologize, mention that the "short timer" "stressed me out" and cross my fingers. Not sure how much effort I want to go through for 70 cents.

    he is probably just mad that you make 2x as much as him..however some like to see paycheck stubs so maybe that is it..

    Na. The goomba "Guy Laban" rejected a bunch of us on the 27th for finishing too quickly, but also threw in like 3 other reasons in the rejection message. I reached out and he stated he would "look into it." Here we are a week later, so atleast it got reversed.
