    That is against TOS anyhow..you aren't allowed to have "surveys" where there is 3rd party registration.

    I don't think this is true. But also in what context? $600/year for a single requester? I do well over $600 every month for the same requester and never got a 1099 from them.

    Yeah. That requester was being a major Dbag about it and was upset that I called them out. I just get so salty from those Robinhood hits that people post sporatically after having been rejected from one for "i didnt know how to approve, sorry for the reject."

    You should get a 1099 Misc form from them. It's up to them however to produce those forms, not you.

    Could you even get a 1099 from a requester even if they wanted to since they don't have you name, ssn or anything else? I feel like that info would be needed.

    Very true. But I feel that since they have your worker ID, they have a way to reach out and say "hey Troy, you've made X amount of money this year. We need to send you a 1099MISC for both our taxes. What is your name, address, etc."

    I feel there are channels that they could use to reach out. Again though, if they dont provide it to us, I wouldnt go searching since it's thier responsibility. We would still need to claim the income though on the Sch C regardless of supporting documents (1099).
